Portfolio Club is made for 11-16 year olds who are serious about their art! These are smaller and thus more intense classes which allow for closer guidance. We aim for our participants to going thorough understanding of art techniques and familiarity with materials.
Our classes cover but are not limited to: drawing (graphite, pencil, sharpie, water colour pencils, pastels) painting (acrylics, watercolour, ink) printing (relief printing, linocut, mono-printing, screen printing) and mixed media (collage, digital art, projector). We will be building our portfolios every Friday from 16:30 - 18:00 at Fullwell Cross Library, Fairlop Room!
Our sessions run in 4 blocks of 3 classes each term. We aim for our workshops to be as inclusive and affordable as possible, so we are offering a 10% discount if you book at least 2 blocks (that would be 6 classes) and a 20% discount if you book for the whole term (that would be 12 classes).
Please note, since it is very important for the participant to attend all sessions in the block to get the most understanding, this means if you miss the deadline for a block booking you will have to wait till the next one. Our principles are founded on inclusion and diversity so children with SEN and learning difficulties are always welcome. At the end of each term we organise a small exhibition so we can admire all of the work produced together!
