During our Creative Wednesday sessions we run Family Workshops during term time. Our upcoming session will be held on the 30th of January, from 10-11am at Fullwell Cross Library.

Barkingside Art Club offers a warm and welcoming space which nourishes creativity and bonds within families. We open up the world of art to families, giving them a chance to explore different art materials and new creative techniques. These workshops are for children and their parents/carers to participate and learn together so children cannot be left alone.

In our upcoming session we will be taking inspiration from the infamous work of Henri Matisse, and exploring printmaking techniques to make a large scale poster in the style of the artist.

All materials and guidance included. We will provide apron and can offer parents tea & coffee.

Our family workshops are for children and their parents/carers to participate in various art activities and learn fun new art ideas that they can also do together at home!
