BAC at Ken Aston Square

The first day of events at Barkingside’s summer outdoor art space will bring a great amount of local people together to enjoy arts activities and explore the local talent. It is the ideal opportunity for local artists to show and sell their artwork to a big audience at Ken Aston square.

Barkingside Art Club will hold a space in the arches leading up to the leisure centre where we will hold the outdoor workshops and a Pop Up Art Market and an Art Exhibition, giving an opportunity to local creatives whose work embraces and defines diversity and inclusion to participate in this amazing event, sell and display their work, and network with other local artist.

The Pop Up Art Market and Art Exhibition is open to anyone to get involved with, we are holding an open call for artists interested in participating in the exhibition or to hire a stall, to give a chance to local artists to put their work out there.

We especially welcome BAME artists and those from working class backgrounds, as well as artists with disabilities or those with learning difficulties or mental health issues to proudly display their work for all of Redbridge to admire.
