Refund Policy / Missed Classes

We are sure you'll enjoy your class, but in the event that you are not able to attend or are not happy we will do our best to help.

We cannot offer refunds, but where possible we try to accommodate an exchange in vouchers for future lessons. Each class is especially designed, with all materials paid for and staff costs, room booking, and special guests accounted for. We also pay a small processing fee for each booking and refund. For this reason it is not always possible to accomodate an exchange and they must be approved in advance.

Please note that if a lesson is missed this cannot be transferred to a future term or session. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

See our info on booking a single 'trial sessions' for new children to come and get a feel for the classes before committing to the term.

INCLUSIVITY AT BAC

Inclusion Policy

Our principles are founded on inclusion and diversity. Children with SEN and learning difficulties are welcome. We encourage parents to book in a block as that allows for consistent development in technique.

The Club has wheelchair access.

Information for children with SEND

To make sure each child gets the full support of our tutors we offer limited spaces in class. Due to safety and staff numbers, we are currently limited to two spaces for children with SEND per class and minimum age is 9 years old.

These spaces are available first come, first serve so please book early if you’d like to attend!

SEND Girls Art Club

This class is especially designed to support girls (9-16 years) with SEND and their families.

The cost encorporates an exciting growing list of materials, staff and guest artists.

CLASS INFORMATION

Trial Classes

We offer the option to book trial class for each child. This is a great opportunity for them to get a feel for the classes and build confidence before committing to the whole term.

We hope your child will love spending their trial creating with us, and if they do decide to return then we will happily refund the trial class for you to book for the remainder of the term.

Trial classes are available until October half term and by pre-arrangement only. Please contact us to book.

Class Materials

Our sessions cover but are not limited to: drawing (graphite, pencil, sharpie, watercolour pencils, pastels) painting (acrylics, watercolour, ink) printing (relief printing, linocut, mono-printing, screen printing) and mixed media (collage, digital art, projector).

All materials are included.

No Drop-in for Adult Classes

Adults classes must be pre-booked online in advance. We are not able to offer drop-in or pay on the door sessions. This does not apply for children's classes.

Drop-off Info for Parents and Carers

To keep children safe, we ask that parents drop their children off and return for pick-up at the end of class. This is to minimise parents dropping in throughout classes.

However, if you require to stay in class to support your child, this must be arranged prior to your arrival with a member of staff.

Photographs

Photos are not permitted within BAC classes or events. This is to protect the privacy of children and families attending our classes.

Our staff are kept up to date with privacy and consent information for each child before taking / sharing any images. We ask that parents and carers respect this and do not take photos.

Home Printouts

We have received a lot of questions about supplying worksheets for children to get creative at home. It is great to hear that children want to engage at home! As a small team, this is something we will carefully consider and review - parents and carers will be updated if home-printouts become available.

Reminders for Past Students
