Anti-Bullying & Inclusivity Campaign

you are invited to take part in Barkingside Art Club x big draw campaign to ‘make a change’ for inclusivity

About the Campaign

We want to encourage a generation inspired by taking action and working towards creating a better world for the future. As part of Big Draw Festival 2021 we hatched the idea to create a campaign to spread awareness about inclusion! We held an exhibition showcasing the work of local artists alongside incredibly inspiring anti-bullying and inclusivity posters created by children from local schools and students from Barkingside Art Club! We were blown away by the results and decided that our mission could not stop there. To spread awareness of anti-bullying and inclusivity, we are need to continue this campaign and spreading the message.

Join us and let creativity run wild as children create visual representations of what inclusivity means to them and what ideas they have for us to become a more inclusive community. We are also interested to see children’s work on anti-bullying, and advice for how we can be kinder, more accepting of each other’s differences and diversity.

Our differences are something to celebrate and we believe that children know best how to achieve this. With your help, we can Make the Change and create a better future.

The children’s work will be used to inspire and promote awareness of the importance of inclusivity across our website and social media, with some also being used for our high street campaign. We will be offering the opportunity for participating children to earn a Discover Arts Award for their contributions.

To get involved and support this cause, please register your interest below. This could be a school, organisation, family or a single person - every contribution counts and is very welcomed!

About the Club

Barkingside artist Eliyah Qureshi, founder of Barkingside Art Club, will be running this project. We are a local arts club providing a supportive and inclusive space based at Fullwell Cross Library for local creatives to meet, share ideas, learn and create art with a focus on inclusivity. Our engagement with Big Draw helps us reach out and create partnerships with local schools and organisations.
