Working with Schools

Our artistic approach to teaching and learning is focused on using art for a good cause - we believe creativity helps us relate and understand the world as well as ourselves better, regardless of age, ability or background.

We believe there is no better way to spend the day than making art. We understand the importance and the benefits of visual art education on the cognitive and emotional development of children, and we tailor our workshops to best suit the needs of our students.

We currently work with Fullwood Primary School to deliver SEN Hour under our ‘Art for A Cause’ initiative. We welcome SEN pupils and their LSA’s to Fullwell Cross Library free of charge. The library, school teams and the students learn new communication techniques and creative skills together, which helps in expressing themselves better.

We are extremely happy with the progress of pupils at Fullwood Primary School SEN hour sessions and would love to work with more schools to deliver mutually beneficial projects like this.

ARE YOU LOOKING TO ENGAGE YOUR CLASS WITH READING? WE’VE GOT JUST THE THING.

We’re passionate about the role of creativity in learning and in collaboration with Fullwell Cross Library we’ve designed a fun, inclusive and educational creative workshop that is sure to inspire your class on their paths to becoming confident readers. We welcome students and their TA’s to Barkingside Art Club, where an expertly picked selection of famous and inspiring library books will be waiting. Children will create artworks inspired by their books, learning new skills and engaging with the library, books and reading in a new and exciting way. Each child will leave with their own unique artwork.

All of our sessions are inclusive and we are flexible in our approach to teaching art so that everyone can work to their full potential. Children and adults with SEN and learning difficulties are always welcome.

IF YOU’VE GOT A FAB THEME OR IDEA TO WORK WITH, WE CAN DISCUSS THIS!

WORKING WITH CHILDREN’S CENTRES

We admire and support organisations with a similar ethos and belief that creativity has the power to connect us regardless of age, background or abilities!

We welcome opportunities to collaborate and work with others who understand and want to support the creative development of children and share our passion for art education.

We can design and deliver bespoke projects and workshops at your organisation, exchange services or create something incredible together. We’re especially excited to work with SEN children as part of our Art for a Cause initiative and young people who would benefit from hands-on experience by volunteering with us under our Young Minds programme.

WORKING WITH BUSINESSES

Creativity helps us relate and understand the world as well as ourselves better. Regardless of age, ability or background we believe there is no better way to spend the day than making art… If that sounds good to you too, then why not hire us?

We can organise and conduct tailor-made workshops for businesses, charities, private and corporate events. We believe it is very important to constantly expand and evolve, so we are also available for collaborative projects with organisations or artists!
