Summer Term Theme
My World, My Story: From Photography to Printmaking & Painting
This term, children will turn their everyday world into art!
Children will be encouraged to bring photographs from home — such as family, favourite places, or special memories — and learn how to transform them into creative artwork.
They will explore:
• Painting and drawing
• Printmaking techniques
• Sculpture and 3D making
• Recycled and sustainable art
• Visual storytelling and early filmmaking ideas
This is more than just art-making — it’s about helping children express who they are, what they see, and how they feel.
