About the Saturday Portfolio Art Club

TheSaturday Portfolio Art Clubis a structured, project-based programme for children and young people aged 8–16 who want to develop their creative skills and build a strong portfolio.

Sessions focus on longer projects that are developed over multiple weeks, allowing time for planning, refinement, and completion. Young people explore observational drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking (including screen printing), textiles such as batik, and large-scale structured work.

Due to the nature of portfolio development,drop-in sessions are not allowed. All places must besecured in advance, either through full-term booking or by confirming and securing a child’s space before attending. Consistent attendance is essential to support skill progression, completed work, and portfolio quality.

The Portfolio Club provides an inclusive, supportive environment with professional guidance and is ideal for focused creative development.

Session price:

• £20 per session
  (2-hour structured portfolio session)

Drop-ins:

• ❌No drop-in sessions allowed

Portfolio Club is aproject-based learning space, where artwork often takestwo to three sessionsto develop and complete. Consistent attendance allows children to receive ongoing guidance, finish work properly, and develop skills to a higher level.

Securing Your Child’s Space:

• All spaces must besecured in advance

• Parents may:

  • Bookfull term, or

  • Secure the child’s place andpay per sessiononce confirmed

• Payment options includedirect debit or paying at the door

Full-Term Booking Discounts:

• 20% offwhen booking the full termbefore 16 January

• 10% offwhen booking the full termafter 16 January
