Date: 1st November
Location: Studio 1

Get ready for a colourful, creative explosion at the Day of the Dead Festival! This day is packed with art, imagination, and the celebration of courage. Participants will engage in inclusive workshops, creating stunning costumes inspired by the lives and works of Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, and Henri Matisse. These renowned artists used their challenges—whether physical, emotional, or social—as fuel for their creativity, and through this journey, attendees will learn to express their own stories.

Studio 1: Dress Me Like Frida, Dress Me Like Picasso!

In this hands-on workshop, kids will step into the shoes of legendary artists like Frida Kahlo, Picasso, and Henri Matisse. Using cardboard, recycled materials, masks, and props, they’ll channel the energy and spirit of these famous figures to create their own unique costumes.

  • Session for Kids (Aged 5-12):
Time to let your imagination soar! Design a bold, colorful costume that tells your story—just like Frida and Picasso did. With paints, sparkles, and a range of crafty materials, you’ll craft something truly magical.

  • Session for Teens (Aged 13-16):
Ready to take your creativity to the next level? Design and paint your own scarf, inspired by the vibrant artistry of Frida Kahlo and Henri Matisse. Wear your creation with pride and show the world your artistic flair!
