Class Structure and Content:
In our art class, we are committed to catering to the unique needs of each student. To achieve this, we have organised our portfolio class into three small, structured groups:
🌟 Exciting Autumn Term Art Workshops for Juniors at Fullwell Cross Library! 🍂
Welcome to BAC’s Autumn Term Art Workshops—a creative adventure designed for young artists aged 8-16! This term, we're embarking on an exhilarating journey through the vibrant world of art, blending the timeless techniques of Renaissance masters with the bold expressions of contemporary artists. Your child will not only discover their creative potential but also build a strong portfolio, develop essential skills, and have an amazing time along the way!

Our term runs from 14th September to 14th December 2024, excluding the October half-term week.

Portfolio Juniors Group:
Tailored for younger children with budding artistic skills, these weekly classes are perfect for expanding their abilities and boosting their confidence.
Portfolio Plus Group:
Geared towards more advanced students, this group focuses on enhancing artistic knowledge, refining drawing skills, and helping build individual portfolios.
Portfolio Creatives Group:
For the most advanced students, particularly those pursuing GCSE, A-Level, or degree-level art studies. This group supports the development of strong portfolios, including sketchbooks and project completion, empowering students to express their unique styles confidently.
Our workshops cover a wide range of subjects, including illustration, animation, Procreate on iPad, painting (acrylics, watercolors), printmaking, manga illustration, and preparation for portfolio university entrance, GCSE, and A-Level art studies.

- September 21st: Celebrate Redbridge Outdoor Arts with our mural and Barkingside flag projects.
- October 13th: Launch of the Sketchbook Project, coinciding with BLACK HISTORY MONTH and The Big Draw Festival.
- November: Participate in the “Light Up for Inclusion” event. We'll create bee lanterns for the Christmas light-up events in Barkingside on 23rd November and Ilford on 30th November.
- Art Exhibition and Awards Ceremony: Wednesday Club on 11th December, Friday 13th December, and Saturday Club on 14th December.
- December: Join our festive workshops and participate in the Redbridge Winter Wonderland project.

This term, we're diving into the rich history of art by blending classical techniques with modern innovations. Your child will learn from the greats while expressing their unique voice, guided by our experienced instructors. They’ll also have the chance to showcase their work in exhibitions, celebrating their artistic achievements!

- Drawing: Master graphite, pencil, Sharpie, watercolor pencils, and pastels.
- Painting: Explore acrylics, watercolor, and ink.
- Printing: Experiment with relief printing, linocut, mono-printing, and screen printing.
- Mixed Media: Dive into collage, digital art, and projection art.

- Early Bird Special: Enjoy a 20% discount for block bookings of 14 or 15 sessions, and 10% off for 7 sessions, if registered early!
- Flexible Payment Options: Payments can be made via direct debit, online for block or single sessions, or in cash at the class. Online registration is required for all payment methods.

BAC is a registered Arts Centre offering Arts Awards through Trinity College London and Arts Council England. Under the guidance of Eliyah Qureshi, our workshops provide young artists the opportunity to earn these prestigious awards, including for SEN children, ensuring accessibility for all.
