Fullwell Cross Library – Autumn Term 2025

For the past eight years, our SEND Creative Sessions have been a safe, joyful, and inspiring space where children and young people come together to explore creativity, build friendships, and grow in confidence. Each year, we develop and enhance these sessions based on feedback from parents and carers – making them even more fun, sensory, and engaging.

🎨 What to expect:

• A mixed group for boys and girls aged 5–16.

• Weekly themes from superheroes to space, each one designed to spark imagination.

• Sensory-integrated art projects: painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing.

• Dance sessions with Bollywood and street dance teachers.

• Creative collaborations with local organisations – from animal therapy to play therapy, functional therapy, and well-being sessions.

• A digital games room for interactive fun.

• Opportunities to work towards Arts Award qualifications and build creative portfolios.

• A supportive team who adapt around your child’s needs, helping them achieve more and feel included.

👩‍👩‍👧 For families:

• Parent’s Corner: relax, connect, and share experiences with other SEND parents.

• Sibling Room: brothers and sisters can join their own creative projects.

• Both the Aldborough and Hainault Rooms become our All Together Hub – fully inclusive, welcoming, and creative.

💃 Special sessions for SEND Girls (8–25 years):
Running alongside the main session, our SEND Girls sessions offer a safe, empowering space just for young women.

• Mixed group: Fridays, 5.00–6.30pm

• Girls group: Fridays, 5.30–7.30pm

📌 Important booking info:

• All sessions must be pre-booked to secure your space.

• Even for drop-ins, please email us at least 3 days in advance so we can ensure the right teachers are available.

• These are affordable, non-refundable sessions – advance booking helps us bring in the best staff and keep costs low for families.
