For Young People Aged 11–16+ Years

This summer, join Young Studio at Barkingside Art Club and discover a place where creativity, imagination and confidence grow together. Whether you love drawing, painting, design or making, our holiday programme gives you the opportunity to explore exciting new techniques, develop your artistic skills and create original work in a friendly, supportive studio.

Each week you'll take on a different creative project, experimenting with a wide range of materials and processes while developing your own artistic style. Attend a single session or join us throughout the summer to build a unique portfolio of artwork.

Weekly Creative Projects

🎨 5 August – Paint It Big!
Create expressive large-scale paintings using acrylics, paint markers and mixed media.

🗿 12 August – Clay Club
Design and sculpt imaginative characters, decorative forms and unique clay creations.

👕 19 August – Print It • Wear It
Design your own T-shirt or tote bag using printmaking, stencils, rollers and transfer techniques.

🎬 26 August – Animation & Creative Media
Bring your ideas to life through stop-motion animation, illustration, collage and character design.
